This Directory is designed to serve as a general guide to various educational programs and services in selected urban centres in Alberta. It does not endorse any of the listed programs and services.

The Learning Exchange (LEX) – General ESL, Pre-Beginner to Intermediate Levels

LEX is a continuous enrolment program, with 5 levels of ESL instruction (Lower-Beginner to Intermediate) taught by volunteer instructors. Open to permanent residents, citizens and refugees. Classes are online and in-person.

A variety of non-formal, part time English language classes and learning options. Open to all adults, regardless of citizenship status.

Training available at Beginner and Intermediate levels to help develop efficiency on the computer
