PLAR Supply Chain at NorQuest College

If you have supply chain experience, learn how to get your skills formally recognized with a NorQuest College digital credential.

Join our information session to learn about how supply chain professionals and students can earn recognition for their skills and experience!

During the session, we will explain how the PLAR process works, who is eligible to participate, and how you can prepare for the competency assessments offered through NorQuest College.

This free online session, hosted by the Language Assessment, Referral, and Counselling Centre (LARCC), is open to everyone and will guide you through your options, answer your questions, and explain how Solomon College can help you move toward your goals.

Careers in Oil, Gas, and Energy

Energy Safety Canada will deliver a presentation where you can learn more about various careers in the energy sector. This includes careers in Oil and Gas, Cleantech, Digitization and Automation, Petrochemicals and Refining, Renewables, and many more! After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to try on a Virtual Reality (VR) headset and experience real work sites in the energy sector.

This presentation will take place in-person at Catholic Social Services (8212 118 Avenue, Edmonton, AB). If you cannot attend in-person, you can watch a livestream of the presentation online. It is free to attend, either online or in-person, but you must sign up at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/careers-in-oil-gas-and-energy-tickets-392780114897. 

Limited in-person spots are available. If no in-person spots are left, please sign up for the online session instead. We will email you the online viewing link shortly before the presentation.
