Taking the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) language assessment

Booking Your CLB or Education Counselling Appointment

In order to take a language assessment or have an education counselling appointment, you must have a file opened with LARCC. If you do not have a file with LARCC you must come in to our office (drop-in whenever our office is opened) and have your file opened before booking an assessment/appointment. We do not book appointments through email.

We need to know certain information about you before we can arrange an appointment for the most appropriate CLB language assessment or to confirm your eligibility for an education counselliing appoinment.

If you’ve never received services at LARCC before, you can come to our office and do a walk in (no appointment needed). Our Intake Staff will open a service file and schedule the needed appointment(s) for you.

Please remember that the language assessment can only be taken once every 12 months.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a test date, please call us immediately at 780-424-3545We do not reschedule appointments by email. If you would like to cancel or verify your appointment online, please visit here.

If you have any more questions, please contact us at 780-424-3545 or email larcc@cssalberta.ca
