Pronunciation & Accent Reduction Techniques

This course is one of the courses in the Professional Business Communication Certificate program. It is designed for internationally trained professionals who would like to enhance their workplace communication skills. Students will gain pronunciation tools and strategies to improve spoken English. Lessons will focus on listening skills, intonation and rhythm patterns, word and sentence stress, pausing and thought groups, and on why it’s important to slow down when communicating to ensure comprehension.
