Canadian Culture and Communications for Nurses

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Our modules focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as well as strategies to enhance overall communication within a healthcare context. Nursing-related themes include documentation, reporting, history-taking and therapeutic communication. The progrram for CLB 6 and CLB 7 is 10 weeks long, and for CLB 8 is 8 weeks long.

LINC at Achev (Home Study)

LINC

LINC Home Study is a free program intended to meet the needs of those living in rural areas or those unable to attend English classes in person. This program is based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks and addresses a broad range of settlement topics.
