IESL LEVEL 5 AND IEAP LEVEL 6 AT NAIT

English as a Second Language (ESL)

A new intensive fast-track option for students interested in completing both Level 5 and Level 6 in one term instead of two! Instead of taking 15 weeks for each level, students can complete level 5 IESL in 7.5 weeks followed by level 6 IEAP in 7.5 wee

program: Listening and Speaking, Reading and Vocabulary and Grammar and Writing.

These will fulfill the ELP for all credit programs at NAIT.

SUMMER LANGUAGE PROGRAM AT NAIT

English as a Second Language (ESL)

The Summer Language Program for ESL Students is the perfect opportunity for newcomers to the city who want to enhance their English skills while immersing themselves in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Designed to improve fluency, pronunciation, and intercultural communication, this program helps students build confidence by engaging with both native speakers and

fellow English learners. Participants will make new friends from around the world, practice English in a safe and authentic setting, and gain insight into Canadian culture to develop their intercultural competence. Collaborative learning is at the heart of the experience, with students working together on a final group project. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion to recognize their achievements. Best of all, the program offers an exciting opportunity to explore Edmonton, with three excursions per week to discover the city's vibrant attractions and hidden gems. CELPIP PREPARATION COURSE AT NAIT

Test Preparation Classes

This comprehensive 18-hour preparatory course is designed to familiarize participants with the CELPIP test, a requirement for obtaining Permanent Resident status and Canadian Citizenship in Canada. Ideal for those who are planning to take the CELPIP test and want to be better prepared. Course code: (NESL718)

Short-Term Career Training

Ballad’s Professional Insurance Careers program is thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of the insurance and finance sector. This 16-week program will provide participants with essential skills in licensing and the workplace to thrive in the dynamic insurance industry.

  • 12 weeks in class
  • 4 weeks of case studies and work experience
